Global Warming

Climate negotiations have been going on since November 11th in Poland. Efforts to control global warming have always had trouble going forward because of disagreements between poor and rich countries on who is to blame. The poor countries want help from the richer countries to set up their systems. Poor countries stated that rich ones have cause the most global warming in the past. Rich/developed countries have blocked any proposal of this kind saying we have to look forward not back. What I know is if we don't all starting working together to stop global warming we won't have much of a plant left to leave on.

Veterans Day

First let me start by saying Thank you to all the men and women that have serviced in the military to help protect us. November 11th is Veterans Day and a day that many places across our Nation take the time to say THANK YOU by having parades, closing schools and work and even our President said "we will never forget those who fought, bled and died for their country, even as the nation moves past wars in Iraq and Afghanistan." Let us all take the time to say those simple words THANK YOU.

Goverment ShutDown

The United States is still not any closer to coming to an agreement on our budget going into the sixth day of  furloughs for federal employees. Neither the President or the GOP are willing to come to an agreement so far. If they do not come to terms soon it will be the first ever default on the governments debts.

Defense Cuts

The Pentagon has announced that it will put its efforts toward saving over an estimated $2 billion dollars over five years. This means they will be cutting staff and expenses in spending in the Defense office of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. This is a much lower number than the $50 billion in cuts that was recommended by a 17 member panel.

UN evidenceof Syrian having Chemical weapons

United Nations still believes that there is evidence of a chemical attach by Syria. Even though Syria has denied this statement proof still remains that a chemical attach took place that killed hundreds of people.
An attack by the US and Frances is still on the table if Syria doesn't meet the requires given to them by international law.
