Defense Cuts

The Pentagon has announced that it will put its efforts toward saving over an estimated $2 billion dollars over five years. This means they will be cutting staff and expenses in spending in the Defense office of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. This is a much lower number than the $50 billion in cuts that was recommended by a 17 member panel.

UN evidenceof Syrian having Chemical weapons

United Nations still believes that there is evidence of a chemical attach by Syria. Even though Syria has denied this statement proof still remains that a chemical attach took place that killed hundreds of people.
An attack by the US and Frances is still on the table if Syria doesn't meet the requires given to them by international law.

The Syrian government has decided to give up their Chemical weapons to be destroyed. In communications between Senator Kerry and Russia that brought the turn around by Syria. The thought of a US air strike has been avoided for now.

Due to the assumption of the United States that Syria has used chemical weapons, President Obama is requesting a strike against Syria. At this time France is standing the U.S. to aid in an attack. At this time the United Nations inspection team is awaiting lab  results from tissue and soil samples. I don't know what you think about the U.S going to war, but I don't know if it is the right or wrong idea. Let me know what you think.
